Sunday Stills: Birds

Sunday Stills Challenge – Birds:  As you know we are Indian Expats in UAE. That brings to mind vast deserts and amazing construction.

Little do people know that right in the heart of the country there are amazing Oasis for bird watching – especially Flamingos.

Now I don’t have a telephoto lens. Heck I don’t even have a tripod yet. But with what I have, my wife and I headed off to do some bird watching. Then on an impulse we drove straight to the lovely zoo at Al-Ain. Here are some photos I managed to snag. The flamingos you see are from the bird watch and the other interesting birds are from the zoo.

      Henry this is in Ajman. Off the Ajman – Umm al Quwain Road. If you are driving up to Ajman let me know and I’ll guide you to this place. We took these photos last Friday.
